Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Cairo

  • A Flying Carpet Tours representative meets you at Cairo Airport with a sign bearing your name. After a private transfer to your hotel, rest and recover from the journey. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx

  • After breakfast, your Egyptologist guide takes you to the Giza Plateau to see the Pyramids of Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure (Mykerinus). Stop at the panoramic viewpoint, where you can photograph all three pyramids together. Then visit the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.
  • Optional extras: the Grand Egyptian Museum with the treasures of Tutankhamun, a Nile dinner cruise with a folklore show and belly dancer, or the Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Fly to Luxor – Karnak and Luxor Temples

  • After breakfast, you are transferred to Cairo domestic airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, explore Karnak Temple and its Great Hypostyle Hall of towering columns, then visit Luxor Temple. Check into your hotel and relax.
  • Optional: Karnak Temple Sound and Light Show in the evening. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor to Hurghada

After breakfast, choose from our optional Luxor tours:

Afterwards, a Flying Carpet Tours representative escorts you to Hurghada in an air-conditioned van. Check in and settle into your Red Sea hotel. Overnight in Hurghada.

Day 5: Free Day in Hurghada

  • Enjoy a full day at leisure on the Red Sea coast. Swim, snorkel, dive, try water sports or simply relax in the sun. You can also choose from a wide range of optional excursions in Hurghada. Overnight in Hurghada.

Day 5: Free Day in Hurghada

  • After breakfast, you are transferred to Hurghada bus station for the ride back to Cairo. A Flying Carpet Tours representative meets you at Cairo bus station and takes you to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 7: Departure

  • After breakfast, your representative accompanies you to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
